Purple Leaf Umbrella Mount Installation

Thanks for purchasing a purple leaf umbrella mount!  This is a supplement to help you install the mount on your deck.

The mount is predrilled to accept 3/8" fasteners (lag bolts or bolts, washers and nuts).  A common guideline for drilling a hole for a 3/8-inch lag bolt is to use a drill bit that's about 75% of the bolt's diameter, or 9/32 inches (or 1/4" if you don't have a 9/32") 

During fabrication, there may be some warpage or twisting of the metal during the weld process.  So when installing, we recommend that you level the mounting plate before attaching to the deck.
